What does integrative mean?

Integrative psychiatry is a whole-person approach to mental health care that combines traditional psychiatric treatments with evidence-based complementary therapies.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, integrative psychiatry looks at the full picture of your well-being—mind, body, and lifestyle.

A personalized care approach

No two people are the same. Integrative psychiatry focuses on individualized care, tailoring treatment to your unique needs, goals, and life circumstances.

Instead of a one-size-fits-all plan, your care is collaborative—designed with you, not just for you.

Treatment Plans

Treatment plans may include a combination of:

  • Thoughtful use of medications

  • Nutrition and dietary support

  • Lifestyle changes (sleep, exercise, stress management)

  • Mind-body practices such as mindfulness or meditation

  • Supportive psychotherapy

  • Supplements or natural interventions (when evidence-based and appropriate)

What Can Integrative Mental        Health Care Help With?

This approach can support a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety and chronic stress

  • Depression

  • ADHD

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Sleep challenges

  • Mood instability

  • Burnout and life transitions

A longer follow-up visit that combines medication management with time for more in-depth support and discussion. In addition to reviewing your treatment plan, we may also: Explore stressors, life transitions, or emotional challenges Incorporate supportive or brief therapeutic techniques Help you build coping strategies and insight This option is ideal if you’d like more time to talk through what’s going on while also managing medications.
